Wanda comes originally from Inhambane, but her family is now living in Maputo.

One of five children, Wanda is supported by her father, who works in the tourist industry.

She says she is very lazy but she has passed all her examinations well. When she qualifies she would like to work in Public Health but feels she should work in an area where there is a major shortage of doctors.
